Michael Ip is a freelance photojournalist based in New York City. He is a regular contributor to the New York Daily News and has done work for the Des Moines Register.
His style has roots in documentary photojournalist, but occasionally branches out to portraiture, sports and street photography.
Michael graduated from Lehigh University in 2002 with a degree in Computer Science. He spent four years as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army, including 15 months in Iraq. He spent a year at Western Kentucky University studying photojournalism.
